In the 1960’s, the Ringwood Presbyterian and Ringwood Methodist Church cricket teams merged to be known as the Ringwood Uniting Cricket Club, and later changed name again to the Ringwood United Cricket Club. In 1983 they merged with the Ringwood United Soccer Club to become the Parkwood Cricket Club. The South Ringwood Cricket Club first played in the season 1968/69 under the name of Ringwood Youth fielding one Under 14 side. In season 1971/72, the club name changed to South Ringwood to better reflect their geographic location. We also have a further fifty kids in the Milo ‘have-a-go’ program of Friday nights.
